Columbia Gorge Organic

About Us

Welcome to the Farm!

Columbia Gorge Organic is an honest-to-goodness family farm. Since 1989, the Stewart family has farmed 180 acres in the beautiful Hood River area of Oregon. In fact, we were the very first organic farmers in the area. Dad’s no longer with us, but brothers Jimmy and Ronny and mom, Cheryl, have kept his spirit alive with hard work and dedication to organic farming, sharing the fruits of our labors and a positive message with as many people as possible!

In addition to growing more than 60 varieties of fruit, including stone fruit, pears, and apples, we make pure squeezed and pressed juices right here on the farm.

Unlike the big guys, we do everything ourselves: we squeeze, press, or puree our own fruits and veggies, compost greenwaste, and buy directly from small organic farms what we can’t grow on our land.

Columbia Gorge Organic Farm has been the recipient of a number of awards, including two times “Farmer of the Year” from Oregon Tilth and “Handler of the Year” and “Farmer of the Year,” from the Oregon Organic Council.
